Since the book Beekeeping and Veterinary Medical Practice, authored by Dr. Kazimir Matović, was recognized as a preeminent monograph of national importance by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, it has received yet another significant recognition.

At the 49th Congress of the World Beekeeping Federation – APIMONDIA, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from September 23 to 27 2025. under the title APIMONDIA SCANDINAVIA 2025 – 49th APIMONDIA Congress, this monograph from Serbia received highly positive scientific and professional evaluations in Section E – Printed Materials, Class 13 – Books on Beekeeping.

Its author, Dr. Kazimir Matović, was awarded a gold medal.
